This has the added advantage of when not blast-chilling it can be used as a conventional fridge or freezer.
 
Having the blast-chill option in one drawer of a multi drawer set up will allow batch blast-chilling rather than using the whole unit.
 
 
Controlled thawing capabilities
 
Adande VariCool can offer controlled thawing as an optional extra, thawing product safely and evenly over a six hour period.
 
As with the blast-chill function, when not thawing the drawer can be used for conventional chilled and frozen storage.
